HYDAC – your reliable partner for all questions relating to fluid management For more than four decades, we have been devoting ourselves to solutions for prolonging service lifetimes and protecting components. The enhancement of availability of your hydraulic and lubrication systems and shorter down times are our main objectives.

HYDAC supplies the hydraulic filters - YOU profit from ...

  • HIGH OPERATIONAL DEPENDABILITY due to stable separation values
  • LONG USEFUL LIFETIMES due to greater contamination retention capacity
  • CLEAN FLUID EVEN WITH COLD START due to low pressure losses
  • LONG SERVICE LIFETIMES due to high collapse stability
  • LOW ELEMENT - DISPOSAL COSTS through weight reduction
  • EASY HANDLING due to low weight

Dewatering and other fluid conditioning

With the dewatering, degassing and other fluid servicing and care systems, HYDAC offers an extensive product range of professional solutions for oil servicing and care in bypass flow for hydraulic and lubrication media. The product programme from HYDAC encompasses both mobile and stationary servicing and care systems.
  • Dewatering through vacuum or coalescence procedures
  • Elimination of acids and oil ageing products
  • Degassing and servicing and care of transformer oil
  • Deoiling of water

FAM 10

ec36cc9dbd

The units of the FluidAqua Mobil FAM 10 series work in accordance with the principle of vacuum dewatering for the separation of free and released water and of free and dissolved gases from hydraulic and lubrication fluids. Thanks to the HYDAC bypass filter element technology with high contamination retention capacity and separation capacity, the units achieve a very high economic efficiency. All of the units can be optionally furnished and also controlled with measuring technology for continuous monitoring of the water content and the solid particle contamination. An integrated heater for increasing the dewatering performance is available as an option. Simple and safe handling is ensured, thanks to the programmable-memory control (PLC) of the Siemens S7 series which is used in combination with a Siemens operating panel in various national languages.
  • Viscosity range: 15 ... 800 mm²/s
  • Contamination retention capacity in accordance with ISO 4572: 200 g
  • Flow rate (at 50 Hz): ≈ 15 l/min
  • The lowest or residual water contents, gas contents and particulate contamination of the operating fluid lead to:
    - Longer oil replacement intervals
    - Improved component service life duration
    - Higher machine availability
    - Reduction of Life Cycle Cost (LCC)

FAM 25/45/60/75/95

539a1136bd

The units of the FluidAqua Mobil FAM 25/45/60/75/95 series works in accordance with the principle of vacuum dewatering for the separation of free and dissolved water and of free and released gases from hydraulic and lubrication fluids. Thanks to the HYDAC bypass filter element technology with high contamination retention capacity and separation capacity, the unit achieves a very high economic efficiency. All units are equipped with an AquaSensor AS 1000 for continuous monitoring of the water content and control of the unit. A CS 1000 particle sensor for simultaneous monitoring of the solid particle contamination can be integrated as an option. A heater can be optionally integrated or even retrofitted for enhancing the dewatering performance, for highly viscous fluids or with low fluid temperatures. Simple and safe handling is ensured, thanks to the programmable-memory control (SPS) of the Siemens S7 series which is used in combination with a Siemens operating panel in many national languages.
  • Flow rates (at 50 Hz) up to approximately 95 l/min
  • Operating pressure 0 … 4.5 bar
  • The lowest or residual water contents, gas contents and particulate contamination of the operating fluids lead to:
    - Longer oil replacement intervals
    - Improved component service life duration
    - Higher machine availability
    - Reduction of Life Cycle Cost (LCC)

TCU

b1a4dd0be8

The TransformerCare Unit TCU is a servicing and care unit for prolonging the useful life of oil-filled transformers and reactors. As the result of a continuous degassing, dewatering and filtration of the insulating oil, the oxygen content, the water content and the particulate contamination in the transformer are kept at a constantly low level, which increases the breakdown voltage of the insulating oil and thus achieving a prolongation of the service life of the insulation. The residual service life of a transformer can typically be increased 3-fold. The throughput is only approximately 15 m3/week, whereby harmful turbulence in the transformer is avoided. The use of the TCU continues throughout the life of the transformer, while it remains in operation and connected to the mains. The quantity of wrong gases removed with the TCU corresponds to the gas formation rate in the transformer, whereby an interpretation, e.g. in accordance with DIN EN 60599* also continues to be possible, analogous to the DGA (Dissolved Gas Analysis). In addition, the moisture and the total gas content in the insulating oil can be monitored online and an early alarm can be triggered in the event of significant changes. * DIN EN 60599 - Electrical devices in operation which are impregnated with mineral oil - Guidelines for the interpretation of the analysis of dissolved and free gases.
  • Retains the insulation property of the insulating oil
  • Enhanced operational dependability
  • Continued option of error gas analysis analogous to the DGA
  • Prolongation of the remaining lifespan of the transmitter by slowing down the ageing of the cellulose

OLSW

2f7d4aad1e

The OffLine Separator Water OLSW is used for separating free mineral oil from aqueous cleaning fluids in accordance with the coalescence principle. For this, the smallest oil droplets become embedded on the fibres of the OilRheo elements and run together to form larger oil droplets on the fibre nodes while rising upward on the outer side of the OilRheo elements. The separated oil is guided into an oil container from which the oil is then manually drained off. In order to ensure the optimum de-oiling performance of the OLSW, a prefilter is integrated for the separation of solid material contamination. The unit is conceived for installation in the bypass flow.
  • Cost-effective de-oiling of aqueous media
  • Protection of the OilRheo elements through prefiltration
  • Prolongation of the service life of the aqueous cleaning fluids used
  • Compliance with environmental protection and disposal regulations
